Award will acknowledge those “on the front line of customer care”.

Nominations have opened for the annual award that rewards companies offering excellent nutritional advice to retailers and consumers.

One of ten British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) Business Awards, the Nutritional Helpline of the Year is sponsored for a second year by stable and tack room equipment supplier Stubbs England.

“The qualified nutritionists employed by feed manufacturers sit on the front line of customer care, answering hundreds of queries every single week,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams.

“This award is a great way for owners, riders and members of the industry to acknowledge and celebrate all the hard work and dedication they put in.”

Stubbs England’s managing director Chris Bradwell added: “We wholly understand the importance of good nutrition on equine wellbeing and how vital it is for retailers, horse owners and riders to be able to access sound, professional advice.

“We are proud to play a part in reinforcing the essential work carried out by nutritional helplines.”

Nominations close on 18 November. Forms can be downloaded at www.beta-uk.org and emailed to ann@beta-uk.org

Winners of the BETA Business Awards will be announced during the 2020 BETA Gala Dinner at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on 20 January.
