Abi Cannon has returned to equestrian publisher DJ Murphy after two and half years at Horse&Hound.
She takes up the new role of commercial director at the home of Horse& Rider and PONY magazines.
The move means Abi is back working with her sister Zoe Cannon, DJ Murphy’s publishing director.
DJ Murphy, an independent publisher based in Surrey, celebrated its 70th birthday this year with special events to thank clients. Staff and previous editors were treated to a birthday party.
PONY magazine was founded in 1949 by David J Murphy. His grand-daughter Kate Austin is the managing director of DJ Murphy.
“It is testimony to our dedicated staff – including my mother and company director Marion O’Sullivan who turns 90 this year and is still selling advertising in the magazines – and our loyal and supportive readers, that we continue to go from strength to strength,” she said.
