Equine toys and treats manufacturer Likit Products is sponsoring a race meeting in aid of charity.
The Likit Family Raceday, a fund-raiser for Ayrshire Cancer Support, is on Sunday July 3 at Ayr racecourse.
Likit Products, a family business established in 2002, is based locally in Kirkmichael, South Ayrshire.
“We’re thrilled to be able to support such a good cause,” said the company’s managing director Andrew Robertson.
“Ayrshire Cancer Support is a charity close to our hearts and we hope this event raises loads of money to help them continue their great work.”
Likit Products makes an extensive range of toys and treats for horses that are fun and also help relieve boredom and stress.
Sandra McCall, chief executive of Ayrshire Cancer Support, said the charity was “very grateful to our main sponsor Likit Products for their generous support of this exciting event.”
Ayrshire Cancer Support has operated in Ayrshire since 1982 helping support adults when cancer affects their lives.
Alongside the race card, the Likit Family Raceday offers free children’s entertainment including a face painting studio, arts and crafts station, treasure hunt, wizarding academy training and fairground rides.
Under 18s go free with a paying adult.
