Livestream available for those unable to attend in person.

The 2022 British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) Feed Conference is an in-person event at the Hilton East Midlands Airport next Thursday (30 June).

And now BETA has arranged a livestream service for those unable to travel to the annual gathering of feed industry insiders, experts, retailers and manufacturers.

Tickets are still available for live and remote delegates, but swift booking is recommended.

Key speakers

Influential speakers addressing the conference will cover challenges facing the feed industry. The event is a popular networking hub too.

Speakers include Robert Clegg on raw material supply and input costs; Lisa Hambly on climate change and agronomy; Andy Burt on rethinking plastic packaging and Alex Munro on alternative energy sources.

After lunch, social licence and what it means for the trade is up for discussion led by Roly Owers; Taranjit Dhansay looks at feed legislation; Jodie Seddon talks about sponsorship and Rupert Dyhouse has an update on equine endocrine disease.

The day runs from arrival at 9.30am for coffee before a 10am start, and ends at around 3.30pm with tea. Day tickets are available or packages of dinner, bed and breakfast in the hotel plus the conference.

“This is your opportunity to hear an exciting range of speakers and meet up with other members of the feed industry,” said BETA’s executive director Claire Williams,
