Nicky Mackenzie is leaving SEIB Insurance Brokers after more than three decades with the company.
Through her role as marketing manager, the popular figure has instigated support across the equestrian community via sponsorship and awards.
Nicky now plans to expand her own business, The Absolutely Genuine Company, which for 14 years has been trading online in upmarket clothing brands at discounted prices.
She is also continuing to stage SEIB Search for a Star and SEIB Racehorse to Riding Horse, the showing series having been licensed to The Absolutely Genuine Company.
Nicky says she is grateful to SEIB founder Barry Fehler “for his trust and the freedom that he gave me to make my own decisions” during her long career with the company.
She joined South Essex Insurance Brokers in 1994 as equestrian sales manager. ETN reported at the time that Nicky was “a trained animal nurse who holds the BHSAI qualification.”
