“There is a natural alignment.”

KBIS British Equestrian Insurance has acquired fellow insurer Carriagehouse’s renewal and new business rights.

The deal means Carriagehouse’s new and existing customers move to KBIS.

Founded in 1992, Carriagehouse offers insurance cover for horses, horseboxes, trailers, carriages and harnesses.

KBIS already supports the British Driving Society (BDS) with tailored insurance solutions and by sponsoring carriage driving shows.

Speaking of the acquisition, Lawrence Gill, KBIS executive director, said:

“There is a natural alignment between KBIS and Carriagehouse.

“Not only in the types of insurance we offer, but in the levels of customer service we are renowned for and the fact our teams are made up of fellow horse owners almost exclusively.”
