Gallop Equestrian is supporting riders who enjoy safe off-road adventures with their horses.

And welcomes latest bridleways development.

Gallop Equestrian is lending its support to an equestrian access group as it works to promote and preserve off-road riding routes.

The brand is backing Mynediad Ceffylau Gogledd Cymru’s efforts to raise funds to research and maintain bridleways for the benefit of all riders.

Mynediad Ceffylau Gogledd Cymru (North Wales Equestrian Access) also runs group rides to explore bridleways in the area.

“Many owners work hard to keep horses for the sheer enjoyment of riding in our beautiful countryside,” says Amy Drew of Gallop Equestrian.

“So we’re pleased to support this group which makes it possible for riders to have fun with their horses in the safety of off-road routes and good company.”

Rights of way reprieve

Amy added that Gallop Equestrian was delighted to see that the Government has scrapped the deadline for recording rights of way.

Previously, bridleways not added to the national official definitive map by 2031 were in danger of being lost for good. Now the pressure is off rights of way researchers as they have more time to complete their work.

“It’s great news and means there’s still time to find and record historic but unregistered bridlepaths for the benefit of all riders who love safe adventures,” said Amy.

Gallop Equestrian specialises in good quality but affordable collections of rugs and other equipment and accessories for horse and rider.

It runs a retailer partnership scheme with preferential pricing for members.
