Equestrian themed face covers are made in Britain.
Face covers – in plain or funky horse and country designs – have been launched by Spartan Equestrian Products.
The reusable covers are made with three layers of a dense weave, cotton mix fabric which is machine washable.
A clever accessory is a cotton drawstring bag into which wearers can pop used face covers.
At the end of the day – when three or four covers may have been worn and replaced - the whole lot can simply be popped into the washing machine.
“They might make people smile”
Covid-19 has brought a new environment for businesses to conquer, says Allison Cocklin, of Spartan Equestrian Products.
The company has supplied the equestrian trade for 37 years. Its new face covers are manufactured in the UK.
“We decided to look at what might be needed by people right now - what our customers might have a demand for,” she added.
“As we come out of lockdown, people are encouraged to use items that do not take away PPE from the NHS. And we hope our face covers might at least make them smile as they put them on.
“We also hope that people will support British manufacturing now, more than ever.”
