BUSINESS BACK-UP SCHEME FOR TOUGH TIMES

New service keeps costs down and gets jobs done.

EMC Ltd, the commercial arm of the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA), has launched a new service to help hard-pressed businesses.

Covid-19 has concentrated many business owners’ and managers’ minds on dealing with the urgent.

Time for planning, sorting, tidying and forecasting has disappeared in favour of fire-fighting and cash preservation.

The situation has been exacerbated for many firms by having fewer staff available under the furlough, soon to be replaced by the job support scheme.

EMC Business Back-Up is designed to smooth the post-Covid road to recovery. It can parachute in fast when you need it – yet finish quickly when you don’t, thus keeping costs down.

“As the commercial arm of BETA, our team has massive accumulated knowledge about business in general and the equestrian industry in particular,” said commercial manager Claire Thomas.

“Now we’re making ourselves available to firms who need a hand, physically or remotely, but don’t want fixed staffing commitments.

“We can help with anything from sales to credit control, marketing to purchase ledger, database cleansing to office administration.  And we can do as small, or as big a job as is needed.”

To find out more about hiring an extra pair of experienced hands with complete confidentiality, contact Claire Thomas at EMC on tel 01937 582111 email clairet@beta-int.com

  • EMC Ltd organises the BETA International trade fair and publishes Equestrian Trade News (ETN).
