Big European brands scooped a series of wins in the spoga horse innovations awards.
A panel of equestrian experts chose their favourites during the trade fair in Cologne, Germany on 3 – 5 February.
From an original entry of 60 products, five were judged to be the most innovative. There was also a prize for the best start-up product.
The winners were:
Amigo Hero 900 Revive Plus by Horseware Ireland
Using yarn left over on the ends of spools, Horseware produces uniquely patterned fabric for these turnout rugs. Each Amigo Hero Revive Plus has an individual, multi-coloured look, but is as strong and reliable as its original namesake.
Rubino AS-X jump and Brillante AS-X dressage saddles by Prestige Italia Spa

Made using recycled plastics, each rug saves over 380 plastic bottles from going into the ocean or landfill. 27% of the rug’s PU waterproof coating is created using recycled camera lenses. The rug range comes in recyclable packaging.
