EQUITANA Melbourne, a consumer show that usually attracts around 50,000 visitors, returns on 10 – 13 November after a four-year hiatus due to Covid.

BETA will lead a trade mission to the event to promote British equestrian businesses, products and services. Some UK companies will also have their own stands at the show.

The EQUITANA Melbourne Business Awards are presented in four categories: Equestrian Rider Innovation, Vet/Feed Innovation, Saddlery/Horse Innovation, and Technology Innovation.

Claire’s fellow judges are Sarah McKinlay of NZ Horse & Pony magazine and Lisa Sweeney, CEO of Business in Heels, an organisation working to empower women in business.

“I’m really pleased to be heading over to Melbourne and flying the BETA flag,” said Claire. “I’m delighted to be judging the Business Awards at the show, because it aligns so well with what we do in the UK with our British companies - and that’s promoting and supporting innovation.

“I cannot wait to see the submissions and am very much looking forward to heading over with the group of British companies attending the event.”
