Winner picked up prize from TV star.
PONY Magazine has scooped Event of the Year for PONY Mag Big Day Out at a national publishing awards ceremony.
The team from PONY publisher DJ Murphy collected their prize from TV star and Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly during a glittering presentation evening.
The PPA (Professional Publishers Association) awards are the industry’s most highly sought-after accolades. They’re contested by publishers of national print dailies to specialist digital media.
“Even the editor of Vogue was shortlisted for an award, so the team were over the moon just to be there,” said Abi Cannon, commercial director at DJ Murphy.
PONY Mag Big Day Out gives the magazine’s young readers the chance to meet their favourite social media stars and get inspired by demonstrations from top riders.
