Backing means “the sky’s the limit.”
The equine boots and accessories brand Veredus has been bought by an Italian investment company.
Milan based Arcadia SGR already owns riding helmet manufacturer KEP Italia, so the deal puts both brands into the same stable.
Zebra Products has distributed Veredus in the UK for almost 20 years and will continue to do so.
The brand’s acquisition by a private equity fund is “very exciting for Veredus and consequently Zebra too,” says managing director Simon Middleton.
“Veredus is already a cutting-edge equestrian brand, so with the backing of Arcadia SGR, the sky really is the limit,” he added.
Veredus’ founder and CEO Paolo Menegon and sales director Ermanno Fuga are remaining involved with the brand’s operational management.
“With the support of Arcadia, Veredus will continue to develop and strengthen its product lines, while preserving the values of innovation, quality and safety that have always distinguished us,” they said.
Arcadia SGR is an independent fund management company which typically invests in small and medium-sized Italian companies.
