Lincolnshire based equine charity Bransby Horses re-opens its doors to the public at 10am today.

All charities’ fund-raising has been severely curtailed by the Covid-19 shutdown. Yet those caring for animals have faced significant running costs throughout.

Bransby Horses normally welcomes thousands of visitors keen to meet its equine residents each year, but has been closed since 20 March.

From today, entry is free to the extensive site which is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am until 3pm.

Visitors can pre-book breakfasts or lunches to collect from the on-site café and enjoy in the picnic fields. There’s also a gift and donated goods shop.

“We have so much outside space for people to enjoy,” said Bransby Horses’ CEO Jo Snell. “We’re very excited to see all the smiling faces we’ve missed for so long.”
