Four equine students are in the running for the 2024 British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) Equine Thesis of the Year award.
The finalists have been invited to present their research papers to a panel of judges during an online event on Sunday, 27 October.

“The BETA Equine Thesis of the Year award is a celebration of the best equine undergraduate studies,” says Claire Williams from BETA.
“The standard of theses submitted this year was exceptionally high, which bodes well for the future of the horse industry and those who will shape its future.”
Universities and colleges offering equine-related degrees throughout the UK and Ireland were each invited to submit one entry, with the following making it through to the finals:
The BETA Equine Thesis of the Year finals will start at 2pm. Each finalist will present their work in a drawn order, then take questions from the judges.
