Newcomer joins group at the heart of equestrian industry.
Rachael McCarthy has joined the team at the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) Group as office administrator.
Hers will often be the voice answering phone calls to Equestrian Management Consultants (EMC), the trade association’s commercial arm.
EMC is the organiser of BETA International and publisher of Equestrian Trade News (ETN).
Based at BETA HQ near Wetherby, Rachael hails from County Durham and has lived in Yorkshire for the last ten years.
She has previously worked as a sales consultant/secretary and in financial services.
“I’m looking forward to meeting the extended BETA team, supporting our customers and traders, and working closely with the staff and suppliers,” says Rachael.
Rachael is married with two children. Outside work, she enjoys swimming and socialising, as well as following her two daughters who are keen footballers.
