New members earn right to display the sign of a reputable equestrian business.
A supplier of biosecurity products and a supplement distributor are among the latest companies to join the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA).
The trade association was founded in 1978 and represents equestrian retailers, manufacturers, distributors and related suppliers.
BETA, well recognised for its body protector standard and NOPS feed scheme, also acts in the interests of horsey consumers.
Potential new members are scrutinised by existing members on the BETA Council, before approval is granted or refused.
Having completed their membership applications, the following are now entitled to use the BETA logo – the sign of a reputable equestrian business.
Equine Bio Genie Ltd, Bicester (Trade member) – biosecurity products
J.A Plambeck GmbH & Co,KG, Germany (Overseas Trade member) – manufacturer of equine feeds
