Cheshire - that prosperous, equestrian-loving county - hosts two new shows this season.

Bookings are open for trade stands at the new HorseFest summer equestrian festival.

To be held at Kelsall Hill in Cheshire, on 8 – 10 July, the organisers are expecting around 3,000 visitors.

With catering and camping on offer, many attendees are expected to ‘make a long weekend’ of it to enjoy big-name demonstrations, entertainment, socialising and shopping.

The event will include a retail zone for equestrian outlets and lifestyle brands, plus a lakeside food and drinks area.

“We’re committed to providing a fantastic mix of high-quality trade stands as well as great food stalls,” said Thea Roberts of HorseFest.

“We have had a great amount of interest already, but would welcome further interest as we aim to provide the very best retail space we can.”

HorseFest will also host a Showcase Partner Presentation Zone where businesses can make presentations and deliver Q&A sessions.

Mother and daughter eventing royalty Lucinda and Lissa Green are the latest celebrity equestrians to confirm their appearance at HorseFest.

New dressage international

Trade stand applications open tomorrow (31 March) for the new Bolesworth CDI3* International Dressage.

The event will be run by the experienced organising team at the Cheshire venue, against the backdrop of Bolesworth Castle, on 24 - 26 June 2022.

Around 5,000 spectators are expected.

With three arenas running over three days, and classes from preliminary grand prix, there will be a VIP hospitality marquee, demonstration by Olympic rider Richard Davison and a shopping village.

Bolesworth’s managing director Nina Barbour said she was “delighted to be welcoming the dressage world back to Bolesworth for what promises to be a huge celebration of the sport.”
