Tickets available as industry players prepare to network and exchange knowledge.

The annual BETA NOPS & Feed Conference takes place at the Hilton Hotel, East Midlands airport on 18 and 19 June 2024.

Each day will see presentations from expert speakers, while offering delegates the chance to earn essential CPD and network with industry colleagues.

There’s to be a dinner on the Tuesday evening with guest speaker Tullis Matson, an equine reproduction specialist, explaining Nature’s Safe - the charity working to preserve the DNA of endangered species.

Two days, top speakers

The conference’s first day will highlight the main issues facing the equine nutrition industry with sessions on sustainability and the responsible marketing of products.

New for this year are two sets of afternoon workshops, one focussing on herbs, the other on claims and labelling.

With Paris 2024 fast approaching, a presentation on marketing around the Olympics will prove highly topical.

Day two focuses on NOPS and prohibited substances. Delegates will hear from racing and international horse sports regulators as well as looking at the challenges posed by recalls, testing and analysis.

There’s also a session on emerging risks including poisonous plants and disrupted supply chains.

Each day runs from around 10am to 4pm.

The two-day conference is supported by Premier Nutrition (gold sponsor), silver sponsor Kiwa UK and Cargill as bronze sponsor.
