Team celebrates with a socially distanced tea party.
Kristy Hodgson, from postal worm count company Westgate Labs, won the Outstanding Customer Service Award at the National SQP Awards.
The virtual ceremony, which highlighted the UK’s best registered animal medicines advisors (SQPs/RAMAs), took place last week (5 November).
Kristy was recognised for promoting best practice parasite control to horse owners, helping to keep horses healthy and slowing the development of drug resistance.
Westgate Labs’ back-up of its animal testing service was described by judges as “critical to the success of enabling people to follow a targeted worming programme with their animals.”
Said Kristy after her win: “Customer service is something that goes right to the heart of our ethos here at Westgate.”
“Worming and parasite control can sometimes be a confusing aspect of horse health, so it’s our aim to support and reassure our customers to do what’s right for their horses.”
Kristy and her colleagues at Westgate Labs watched a live stream of the award ceremony over a socially distanced tea party.
“We had a really fun afternoon,” she added. “It was a fantastic way to buck any lockdown two blues.
