“Stock availability is good; delivery times are brilliant…”
Mike Mills has joined Henry Bell Wild Bird Care’s national network of sales agents.
He is representing the brand to country stores and garden centres across Kent and East and West Sussex.
Mike also has the credentials to support equestrian retailers and merchants stocking – or considering stocking - wild bird supplies. And he believes there’s good potential for outlets from retail chains to smaller independents.
“It certainly helps that Henry Bell’s stock availability is so good, delivery times are brilliant and it’s a nice company to work with,” says Mike.
“Customers have really bought into the brand, as they like the quality of products and their sleek, professional packaging, which looks fantastic on store shelves.”
Merchandising expertise
Mike, who runs his own business, Mills Agencies, began working in garden centres straight from school.
“I started as a weekend till operator and progressed to deputy manager positions before crossing over to the other side as a merchandiser and sales representative for [garden pottery supplier] Apta,” he said.
And as Henry Bell’s national sales manager Andrew Mellowes adds, Mike can deliver “a fresh pair of eyes, a broad knowledge base and a huge amount of enthusiasm” to retailers.
Mike lives in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, with his wife and three children. He enjoys spending leisure time with his family and catching a good movie.
As well as wild bird food, Henry Bell & Co also manufactures EquiGlo horse feeds.
