Show releases presentation programme featuring top speakers.

Equestrianism at the Olympics and cyber security for businesses are among the diverse topics up for discussion at BETA International next month.

The annual trade fair takes place on Sunday and Monday, 22/23 September at NAEC Stoneleigh.

Top speakers are set to address visitors from the show’s evoke Seminar Theatre stage. A full programme of presentations for the two days has just been released.

Included are talks on using video in marketing by Harry Sykes who works with Horse & Country TV; and Claire Shand from Westgate Labs on the hot topic of wormer resistance.

An appearance by canines from Medical Detection Dogs, BETA International’s chosen charity for 2024, will be another highlight.

Live debate

BETA International’s popular Talking Business returns on both days to address what matters to the equestrian industry. The live debate will be hosted by Sarfraz Mian of the show’s main sponsor Neue Schule.

“There will certainly be lots to talk about in the aftermath of the Olympics, increased focus on the threat to our ability to keep and compete horses and the challenges many of the trade have faced this year,” says Claire Williams of the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) whose commercial arm organises the show.

“Add to that topics as wide ranging as saddlery training and safety, alongside plenty of CPD point earning opportunities for SQPs, and there is something for everyone.”
