TRAINING PROGRAMME “ADDS VALUE IN CHALLENGING ECONOMIC TIMES”

164

Inspiring business owners and staff to sell with confidence.

Courses on fitting riding hats and body protectors in a retail setting, advising on horse bit purchases and in-store merchandising are set to run next year.

They all feature on the British Equestrian Trade Association’s (BETA) 2025 training programme.

There are also courses on the legal marketing of feeds and the BETA NOPS scheme for feed manufacturers and distributors.

All businesses can benefit from sessions on marketing, including use of print media and press releases, public speaking, lives and podcasts and using AI for content marketing.

Courses are designed for all businesses in the equestrian trade and their employees. Participation is open to BETA members – who enjoy preferential rates - and non-members.

The training is delivered across a combination of in-person, online and on-demand presentations. Some courses lead to a qualification; others deliver CPD points.

“Sell with confidence”

“Our retail courses are designed to equip store owners, managers and their staff to sell with confidence,” says BETA’s Claire Williams.

“In challenging economic times especially, offering a specialised, personalised service is perceived by consumers as good value for money. The retailer is therefore more likely to make a sale - and reap the rewards of that customer returning in the future.”

All courses are presented by experts in their fields.
