Zebra Products is now the exclusive distributor of Komperdell body protectors in the UK and Ireland.
Komperdell, an Austrian company, also produces protective equipment for motorcycling, skiing and cycling.
It’s the second equestrian safety brand to join Zebra Products’ portfolio. The North Wales based distributor also supplies uvex helmets to the trade.
“I already knew of the [Komperdell] brand and saw that they were very busy at spoga horse [the German trade exhibition] this year,” said Zebra Products’ managing director Simon Middleton.
“I visited their Austrian HQ, and could immediately could see a synergy.
“We look forward to making Komperdell a household name here in the UK equestrian market as we have done over the years with uvex.”
The Komperdell Safety Vest complies with BETA Level 3 (EN13158:2018).
