Virtual substitute and new spring event planned.
Your Horse Live – due to take place at Stoneleigh Park on 6 – 8 November – has been cancelled.
Organiser Bauer says it’s due to scientific advice around social distancing linked to the coronavirus pandemic, and the current uncertainty around large events.
The next annual Your Horse Live event is scheduled for 5-7 November, 2021.
As reported by ETN yesterday, Your Horse magazine and its digital properties have been acquired by Kelsey Media. The deal did not include the Your Horse Live show which remains in Bauer’s ownership.
In a statement announcing this year’s cancellation to the trade, Bauer said: “With all the uncertainty around the new rules and regulations, we know that currently we would be unable to deliver the live show you expect and deserve with the visitors numbers that you need.”
A virtual Your Horse Live is to be held over the weekend of 6 - 8 November 2020 featuring shopping, bargains and rider appearances.
Plans are underway for a Your Horse Live event in the spring.
Questions answered
Your Horse Live organisers have issued these FAQs for trade exhibitors:
Q - The show has been cancelled; can I move this booking for November 2021?
A - Good news, your booking will be automatically transferred to the 2021 November show dates. You don’t need to do anything, but we will be in-touch to update the dates on your booking form. If you do not want to transfer your stand you must confirm this to us in writing by 1st November 2020 so we can cancel and free up the reserved space
Q - I can’t make the new date, can I get a refund on my stand space?
A – The good news is that due to the uncertainty around Covid-19, Bauer decided not to issue any invoices for YHL 2020 so no monies have been paid
Q – What is the virtual event – how will it work? What can I get?
A – We are currently working with 3rd parties to find the best online solution for all, once we have this confirmed we will contact everyone with all the details and information you need
Q – With all the uncertainty if you cancel again in 2021 will I get a full refund on my stand? Can I book in confidence now to ensure I secure my preferred space?
A – Absolutely, Yes
Q – Are you looking at launching a new live event in the Spring?
A – Yes, we are looking at the possibility and we will be in touch soon to canvas your views, however, if you have any ideas and concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us directly
